Do you have an update regarding a potential place / order number for the motor boards? I thought about using Beta-Layout, but after using their Magic-BoM, it seems it is not consistent with the actual components chosen for the board (i.e. it has populated spots for the 2200 pF component with that of the 0.47 pF) in some places.

yes - we have given Beta Layout the permission to replicate the microDriver_v2 boards for anybody who is interested.
You can ask them for a quote for replicating the microDriver_v2 boards according to
the order number AU-201909/38760.
They will give you a quote for producing the boards and for the the placing and soldering service - NOT including the component cost.
After you have placed the order for the boards Beta Layout will search for the components and will send you the component list with the actual component prices for your approval.
We order the boards fully populated - except for the precision resistors and the Hirose connectors.

Thanks for the information :). I’ve been in touch with Beta Layout, and they are in general hesitant to use previous orders as it causes confusion. I’ve tried uploading the .brd and .sch files to their site, but their automatic tool is loading parts incorrectly.
That said, I’ve reached out to a few other places to get quotes, and one of them noted an apparent discrepancy between the BOM and Gerber file for the U7 component. Specifically:
“thee footprint for the following reference designators as specified in your BOM do not match the gerber data. Either the
footprint used during PCB layout is incorrect or manufacturer part numbers given in BOM is incorrect.”
I’ve uploaded a screenshot of the picture they sent along with this information. Do you have any suggestions with regards to this?
Interesting. From the screenshot is seems that they are calling out the fact that the pin 1 pad is not made slightly longer than the others. There haven’t been any issues with this part when ordered and assembled from Beta Layout, so I’d say to have them ignore it and move on, as this will not impact functionality in any way.

We are ordering the master board and micro drivers from the french division of beta-layout.
They told me they would prefer to receive your approval directly and not from there german division.
